Amy Wood

Amy Wood is a paralegal for Emergent Law Firm. She handles most scheduling for the firm’s attorneys and is often a primary liaison among the firm’s clients, the courts, and the firm’s attorneys.  Amy is a great resource for general questions regarding your legal matters.

Ms. Wood has experience in intellectual property, corporate, and litigation support.  She understands that each client’s needs are different and makes every effort to develop a professional relationship with our clients to improve the firm’s service.  This approach allows her to assist clients with vocalizing specific needs, while treating each with discretion and, most importantly, respect.

Amy earned her paralegal certificate from Greenville Technical College, an ABA certified program. While earning her paralegal certificate, Amy participated in The Special Visitors Project, a collaboration between Greenville Technical College and the Greenville County Probate Court. Through this program, Amy worked with elderly citizens and individuals with mental health issues to ensure that their legal interests were properly protected. Amy is deeply committed to serving this community and lives in the Greenville area with her rescue dog, Parker.
